Aveda have been on my to-try list for a long time and I still haven't got round to it - until now! I can honestly say hand on heart I am 100% impressed with the results - the consistency is thick and actually feels like it means business.
spend a lot of my time trying to find the right care for my hair. When I say time, I also mean money and I've wasted tons of it on products which don't make the slightest bit of difference. You know that sloppy, gutless texture that some shampoo's and conditioner's have, well I've come across loads of them; the type of texture that comes shooting out and just ends up running off your hands mainly on the floor before you've even got it anywhere near your head.
Don't get me wrong, my hair's alright and everything, but it's exhausting and hard work to manage. It's thick, bushy and always (frustratingly) requires heat styling to keep it under control. I wish I could wash it and leave it to dry naturally, but no way is that going to happen any time soon, so if I can find a shampoo and conditioner which leaves it soft enough that at least some of that hard work is already taken care of, I can do the rest. With all that heat styling though, comes heat damaged hair, which in turn creates frazzled hair that loses its strength.
So, let me get back to the main point - Aveda Damage Remedy™ restructuring haircare. Marks and Spencer recently very kindly contacted me to let me know they will soon be welcoming these Aveda products to their already amazing range and they very, very kindly sent a shampoo, conditioner and daily hair repair to try.
My hair feels absolutely beautiful and it really feels like I've got someone elses hair (whoever you are, I apologise for stealing your silky soft locks, but you're not having them back!) So, if you're anything like me and struggling to keep your 80's bouffant under control, not just in this hot weather but at any other time, then I would absolutely recommend giving this range a go. It smells gorgeous with Bergamot and Ylang Ylang - what's not to like? (Unless of course you don't like Bergamot or Ylang Ylang!)
