My skin goes through phases with the seasons and I suffer with problematic skin mostly through the Winter; it's dull, in urgent need of a good dose of Vitamin D and I rely quite heavily on skincare products boasting invigorating and revitalising properties.
I've made no secret of my love for Pixi Beauty in the past and thanks to the team of angels over at Marks and Spencer beauty PR, I now have the chance to try this exciting Oxygen boosting mask.
I love Pixi, not only for the beautiful packaging but because I feel like they quite literally bottle up every woman's idea of reliable skincare, working with your skin to make you feel and look radiant and that's pretty much what I am expecting from what I use. Oh, and they're cruelty free, which makes them even more incredible.
I am a huge fan of treatment masks for their ability to provide a more fulfilling experience with a product, making you at least feel like you're actually benefiting from what it's proposing it does. This mask is a handy pump-action bottle, designed to revive dull and tired skin almost instantly, which means it's fantastic for occasions and even travelling (which is where I think I'll give this a go the most to be honest). It can be used under makeup too, thanks to it's light consistency so it works wonders at providing the ideal makeup base.
It's made up of some fantastic components aswell as the Oxygen complex; it contains vitamins, ginseng and my favourite thing in the entire world: caffeine. The addition of lactococcus (first time ever discovering this ingredient) works to strengthen the skin and lactic acid helps remove any toxins that have made their way in, causing impurities and blemishes that I know and hate.
This one in particular gives my skin that lovely, tingly sensation so you really feel it working and you could probably get away with using this at any time, it's quite versatile and you could use it in the mornings to give skin a boost, or at night before sleep to help it get to work even more efficiently when skin is relaxed and able to absorb a little easier.
I see no reason why, if Oxygen is doing a pretty darn good job at keeping us all alive, it can't do the same for our skin, which after all is a living and breathing organ in itself. Despite some initial reservations about this product when I first received it, I am very happy to say it's put a big smile on my face! Can you handle the love?
