We are spoilt for choice in the beauty and skincare world and there's a face mask for every occasion right now. At this very moment, I am using the Emma Hardie Renewal Treatment mask for the first time to see what the fuss is all about.
The Emma Hardie Skincare range is a British brand with gentle skincare products which are suitable for all complexions and skin types, even mine which I would describe as extremely reactive and sensitive. I first came across Emma Hardie in one of Marks and Spencer's beauty box editions (and they have a fab range of Emma Hardie products in store) which had a little travel sized pot of Moringa Cleansing Balm inside. I'd heard such good things about cleansing balms I decided to give it a go to see what all the fuss is about; it definitely lived up to the hype!
For me there's now nothing that tops the Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm - it's worth the extra effort in the mornings as my skin is always left feeling so darn beautiful it's actually quite unbelievable - that will definitely get your day off to a good start (and that's coming from a non-morning person!).
So, going back to the Emma Hardie Treatment Mask - don't get me wrong, there's a time and a place for a face mask and sometimes the moment just doesn't present itself as you can't exactly go about your everyday life with a clay-mask on, but this one is not your traditional 'mask' in that sense. It doesn't necessarily require removal after 10 or so minutes like you may imagine as it's multi-purpose, leaving its uses open to many different options such as a quick skin pick-me-up, an intense weekly overnight remedy and as a cooling and soothing treatment (just pop it in the fridge until it's to your desired cool-ness).
This mask works to improve the appearance of your skin with all those glorious added benefits of anti-imflammatory and healing thanks to the Moringa properties and hit of Hyaluronic acid to supply a well needed hit of moisture to help plump, firm and reduce the appearance of those darn fine lines and wrinkles, whilst enhancing the skin's natural radiance that we all know is hiding under there somewhere.
I've come across many 'intense treatment' skincare products which have resulted in my skin feeling grimy and horrible and I've ended up wiping it off because I just can't bear it. This however has a smooth, creamy formula which, considering it's described as rich and intense, is surprisingly not at all thick or slimy in the slightest and absorbs beautifully which I found very impressive.
I've, so far, been choosing to use this weekly as an intense overnight treatment when my skin is more relaxed and able to respond a little more efficiently and it's become one of my absolute beauty favourites which I would recommend to absolutely anybody.
